Faculty Reviews

Every faculty member should have an annual review. To support the review process, tenured, tenure-track, and some non-tenure-track faculty members (and others as directed by their departments or schools) must complete a faculty annual report on their own activities for the past calendar year. These reports are due no later than mid-February and are used by chairs and deans in making reports, appointments, and budget decisions. Information about Activity Insight can be found on the University Academic Affairs website, including an FAQ, faculty user guide, and a set of video tutorials.  Prior FAR information will be available for extraction through its retirement in 2017 and thereafter.

Reappointments and Non-Reappointments

IUPUI Reappointment Process:

Reappointments for academic appointees are made by extending the end date of their title(s). For all full-time tenure-track, clinical track, lecturers, and academic specialists, OAA will send out forms to the units requesting reappointment recommendations. This happens three times during the year depending on how long the individual has been employed.
